What Are You Wearing? explores the difficulties of dating in the modern world from two best friends opposing perspectives. Rose is desperate to mend her broken heart and find love again, whilst Mel just wants dinner. Their paths diverge and cross through a series of horrific dates, from the they learn more about themselves rather than their potential Mr Swiped Rights.
Josephine Sherlock had always wanted to write something to show dating from a women's point of view. Having worked together previously on her debut show as a writer "The Return of Neverland" Jo and Chris Daley were keen to try and write something together. With the "Me Too" movement gaining more and more traction, it felt more relevant than ever to create something that showed a women's perspective in a 21st century image obsessed dating world.
What Are You Wearing?

"This was a crisp jaunt into the sometimes uncharted territory of modern dating"
What Are You Wearing? followed this up with a successful run at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. This time we were part of the Laughing Horse Free Festival and absolutely loved it. It didn't come without it's challenges. Between technical restrictions, a limited stage and doing two shows a day, everyone in the cast and crew stepped up and made us proud. The show was very well received and sold out on several occasions.
We had an incredible time and can't wait to bring What Are You Wearing? back to the stage.

Critical Acclaim for the Edinburgh Fringe Shows;
"The writing was concise and beautifully observed and the strength of the acting from the cast matched the script perfectly"
"Josephine Sherlock was particularly outstanding as Rose and she gave a nuanced and thoughtful performance as someone looking for the “perfect man”
